Re: Tetenal Colortec C-41 Developing Kit

Tetenal spells out capacities in their instructions. They have extended use instructions if you are willing to live with less than perfect results. For me I wouldn't try to develop more than 8 rolls...

  3. Re: Midtone Machines - Automatic Film Processing Machine

600mL that makes sense. I wonder what kind of educational market there is for something like this????

I found a 1921 catalog of Central on the same site. I bet he's gonna get a lot of good used treasure.
  5. Re: Midtone Machines - Automatic Film Processing Machine

Looks very nice. What is the size/ capacity of the heating tank? In my previous life we would make aluminum tooling for injection molding prototyping, helped alot. Aluminum tooling might be adequate...

That's a nice setup. You can add "just enough" ice to meet your requirements. With the coil at the bottom and the ice floating in whatever water level you choose, gravity convection. Very nice.

Yeah don't paint the uprights. At least not ordinary paint. Mine almost look like very worn bluing of some type. It's worn away where the rollers ride. It's not rusted, decades of patina.

For one missing handle for the table I used a nice 1950's era crank from a Craftsman saw, I bored it through and fits like a glove.

I got rid of all my flashbulbs. When I lived in the country I had a couple plastic buckets full of them, I stored them in an old tool shed. 25B bulbs make beautiful light.
