Ah, should have guessed. Never tried. More stuff to get
  2. Re: Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

    Fun idea.
What kind of filament did you use? Some semi-transparent-ish I guess

    Re: Xenotar condition opinions?

I got one by chance last year on a Swedish auction site. Coating a bit damaged but not as bad as OP's copy. So I decided to keep.
Haven't seen it affect images so far.

And yes it's a mixed bag....

    Re: High Lights scanning problem

I look at scanning as catching raw data, meaning setting no limits in white and black, acquiring the full scanner range. Or at least leaving an ample headroom not trying to optimize the white and...
  5. Re: Intrepid 4x5 mk4 camera and wide angle lenses

Formalized the Intrepid extension a little bit today by doing a 3D print and getting a nice knurled screw.

Did a flange to film measurement and got it to about 47mm. Little enough...
  6. Re: Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

Looks really nice. One day I'll try to do the same in Fusion. But being a beginner I'm not really there yet (big understatement).
Just did my first Fusion project. A storagebox for my large format...
  7. Re: Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

Well, yes if you are developing with the tank i vertical position this adds nothing. Then a clip is indeed a better choice.
This is intended for use on a roller or processor like a Jobo CPP...
  8. Re: Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

Did a small print today. Almost to simple to even mention perhaps.
But something I thought about a for some time.
A filler for my Jobo drums. To help lower the amount of chemicals needed when doing...
  9. Re: Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

Sounds interesting. Got an old CPP2 on my own.
If you are up for sharing get back when you are done tweaking.

    Re: 3d printing lens boards

Thanks. will have a look at that. You mean calibrate the platform with a little bit more distance to the nozzle?

All this is new to me. But fun a sort of wonderful :D
  12. Re: Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

Thanks. Very nice. I just downloaded the files. Will have a stab at it.
  13. Re: Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

To set a good example I start with today's print.
A 86mm adapter ring to my Cokin Z Pro filter holder.

I want to use the Cokin filter holder on my 75mm Super Angulon lens...
  14. Show your 3D printed LF photography related thing

Just new to 3D printing. It's fun and actually works better than I though.

I've did a quick search and there seems to be a few of us that print stuff to help us with photography. Lensboards is the...

    3d printing lens boards

So, my first 3d printer is in transit and will arrive shortly.

I guess it mostly will output dungeons and dragons figures to delight my son, but in-between I hope to perhaps print a lensboard or...
  20. Re: Intrepid 4x5 mk4 camera and wide angle lenses

Mine is 50mm length, 90mm wide and 18mm high. None of them critical I think.
Distance between holes are 25mm. So that is what you gain in extension.
Diameter of front hole is 6,5 mm and of back to...
  21. Re: the thread for Kodak XTOL quality control issues

    Fomadon is good too.
But in my tries not exactly the same as Xtol. Treated as equal it gave me different results. Not necessary worse but different.

My take is no. 75mm is as wide as you can go I think.
