    thanks - perfect - much better picture than the ebay one - so the curved piece is for a finger and there is a pin to mate in the slot- very easy to copy

    are the springs holding the GG firm/strong?

    if they are a little lose or weak then the holder - being thicker - would be held tighter than the GG with no tension

    i have Sirui A-1205 that weighs 2.2 pounds - its very compact - folds to 14" and extends to 55" and it is rated to hold 22 lbs

    I have not put the 4x5 or 5x7 on it - but I have traveled with it...

    I just bought 3 1920's boxes of Kodak sheet film - hand dated as opened in Oct 1928-

    most of the film is still in there, in layers of wrapping - of course no way to know if it has been opened...
