That's pretty sharp for a toy camera.
This is great. Nice work!
But this is the Everything Else forum, and I read to that to be everything except LF images and discussion, which has it's own forum full of specialty subjects dedicated to Large Format (even...
Yikes. Maybe it should be renamed "Safe Haven for Medium Format Church Photos." Would that be any better?
This is the everything else section of the Forum... and to sort of agree with you, when I...
Thank you. Yes, I'm actually glad the people are in there.
Thank you, it's been a while since I've posted.

Scanned...
The Howtek scan looks far superior on my monitor (Spectraview). Not only the color, but there is more detail. A lot more. I have the 850, but you are making me want a drum scanner.
Fantastic!
I'm not sure, maybe some other more experienced members could confirm that... I have only used XTOL at 1+1 personally, and only a few times so far, but I may make it my normal go to now. I typically...
All normal characteristics of XTOL, in addition to being less toxic than some other developers.
Snow! These are great!!
Excellent, thanks. My printer should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully I don't forget to fill out the rebate!
That's good to hear. Do you make digital negatives with your P800?
I know this is an old post, but I just ordered the p800 (with rebate) with the intentions of making digital negatives. I hope the wrinkles have been ironed out since 2015, and I hope I made the right...
Awesome photos, Peter. I don't know why, but I love snow scenes.
This generally how I meter (with a Zone VI modified Pentax Digital Spot), but I tend to focus more on the finding the brightest spot rather than the shadow areas as most of my exposures are done with...
I missed this exhibit (been away from Atlanta for quite a while down on the coast), but I like her landscape work. I have her Deep South book on my coffee table. Your photo does have that Sally Mann...
Damn great job on the first one... and more importantly - cute dog!
*Two* Neumanns - nice!
Nice. I started collecting typewriters a couple years ago. I'm up to around 16 and my oldest one is a Royal from the 1920s.
Not saying you're wrong here, but as a professional videographer, I've never, ever seen a ball head used on video cameras in my 20+ years in the field. I do however see plenty of ball head users 35mm...
Interesting that some find the stickers confusing. I have the zone modified Pentax digital spot and find it very intuitive. In fact I can't imagine it being any easier. What I find more difficult is...
Jekyll is a pretty special place to me. I usually rent a cottage or condo and stay for a week.
Holy cow! Stunning - the contrast of the foreground with the pop of color on the mountains in the distance..and the softness of those clouds. Very well seen!!
I know this spot... I have photographed it with both Rolleiflex and digital. No 4x5 though. You're right - must work quickly in the morning.

Ha ha
Wicked!
Very nice.
Thank you for this. I have attempted to do this and I'm not sure I knew what I was doing. It will be good to read through this and recalibrate my scanners.
I don't have the cascade film holders, but are you the one that made the camera case and lens cases? If so, I love them. I would like the have some film holder cases too.
Big Congrats. I use a NEC 27" Spectraview calibrated display, but I've always heard the Eizos are the very best.
I use both Safari and Chrome and there was a time when each browser rendered color differently. It was annoying. Not sure it's still the case.
Some from a British Car show this past spring. I was shooting Velvia. A bit contrasty for the some of light, but oh well.

Did you use a filter? The whiskey look almost clear. I have those same glasses.
I don't do facebook. I'm on IG though. I'd love to join you guys sometime.
