  1. Re: Very neat artice by the New Yorker on Thomas Joshua Cooper

The new one I ordered is called “The World’s Edge” published by Prestel just this September. When I receive it, I’ll try to post a comment or two about it.

    Drew,

It’s a fun video. His off the cuff speaking manner is rough sometimes, he drops f bombs on a regular basis. He’s incredibly passionate about what he does, and his passion is probably the...

There’s an interesting YouTube presentation by him. Well worth watching as far as I’m concerned.

Re: What did you compose at Waters Edge?

I made this image a couple of years ago in Capitol Reef during a winter visit. It was made with my Ebony 8x10 using a Nikkor 450M on Velvia 50 film. I was pleasantly surprised how well it turned...

Here is one from Capitol Reef last fall. I was lucky enough to have the small rainbow stick around until I was able to compose and set up the 8x10. Usually, the...

Re: A visit to an art fair

Having participated in about 400 art fairs over the last 20 plus years, I’d like to think I have a pretty good perspective on art fairs. I’ve done as many as 24 in a season, but I’m now down to 7...

    Re: Intrepid 8x10 experiences?

Peter, I look forward to your comments. I’m on the fence trying to decide if it would make a better backpacking camera than my Chamonix. It would save about 3.5 pounds, but the Chamonix is...
