I don't know about that Jim, I'm sure I can throw tilt, shift and swing at the camera until I exceed some tolerance somewhere. :)
  6. Re: Dry Plate sis there any source for sensatized dry glass plates?

I have yet to identify what the wet plate "look" is though. I am in awe of the beautiful photography produce via wet plate methods by many of you, but I don't know what makes something "wet plate"...

I don't want to sound like a twat, but was the Heygate series all just shot a series of foggy days or is there darkroom work to dodge parts of the final images for the gradient lightness.

  24. Re: Quality of Chemistry From Bostick and Sullivan

Thanks guys! One last question; Ideally I would like to do all my wetplate work on my current sinar f2, anyway I can get/make plate holders for the thing or is that a bit of a doomed enterprise?
  25. Quality of Chemistry From Bostick and Sullivan

Re: Fuji PA 145 vs PA 45

PA 145 takes Fuji FP100C and 100/3000B film which is about half as expensive (or less) than Fuji FP100C45.

Its feels like a much different aspect ratio to me as well.
