    Those glass plates shift the focus by ⅓ rd the thickness of the glass. So, if your glass replacement is a different thickness then the original ones you have another difficult problem.

    Except the fall off already occurred when the light rays pass through the rear element. Also, placing a filter behind the lens creates a focus shift = 1/3rd the thickness of the filter material.

    No, it was very easy. The assistant was shooting withm his Mamyia TLR with them75mm lenses but Avedon used the the Rollei 2.8 f with the 80mm Planar.

    Your not wrong but it is corrected for medium format digital imaging. Optimal aperture is f8 rather then f22 as the film versions were. It also covers a much smaller image circle.

    Congratulations, but that Apo Sironar Digital is not a film lens and you will barely cover 45 film with it.
