    Re: safe haven for tiny formats

    Your portrait work is top notch. The one of guy with the cap on is wonderful. The use of DOF and the expression on his face combine into a combination that works rather well. I used to use a Pentax...

    Re: how old are we?

    If dirt was old it might be equal. :=} I am 67 and have shot in LF since I was 14 or 15 years old. It has changed much but throughout my career and now retirement I still feel that each exposure is a...

    Re: New to the forum

    Hi and Welcome to the group. I am new here as well. It is a good feeling to return to real photography. :=}
  9. Re: Howdy from the mountains of Arizona, USA

    Thank you. It feels great to have revived something I thought was gone. Doing commercial work is the antipathy to enjoying what you are doing.:)
  10. Re: Howdy from the mountains of Arizona, USA

    Thanks Brian,
    As far as getting around the beach. I wish I could but my study will be more of a shells, bones and other oddities. It helps to have a wife that has collected that sort of thing for...

  12. Howdy from the mountains of Arizona, USA

    :)Hi to all,
    My name is Gerry Schnaible and I am still capable of remembering my first Brownie 620 camera. :=} I became fascinated with photography at a very young age during our many trips to...
  13. Re: New record for "Most users ever online"

    From a very new member of LF I think this is great. I, like so many others, have inhabited APUG/Photo-net for quite some time. Funny thing is I stumbled across LF by accident. I would like to Thank...
  14. Re: Where Can I get a Sinar P (older model) from?

    I deal on ebay all the time and would give you these suggestions.
    1) Do not deal with a seller that has anything less than a 100% feedback.
    2) I limit using sellers with less the 200 feedbacks. It...
