I would try to get that machine back to original specs. Such a beautiful machine.

I have a similar V8, pre-war, no aluminum plate, it's got all the front movements so I suspect it was upgraded?, really not sure. I think the bellows are original. It came with a big old 12" f4.5...
These place is about photography, thanks to well behaved members and thoughtful moderators.
That's so great.!!!
Beautiful truck, color is great
Well done. Beautiful place
Beautiful place, I need to get on a train sometime. I just realized it's been over a decade since I've been in a redwood forest. Magical!
Looks great. I like the scissor lift.
Very well done. I need to work on trying this
I use sparsely used streets as much as possible. Hills around here would make it very difficult for me to ride my 30+ year old Cannondale. Trails are tricky, people walking listening to music, I...
Ansel is lucky he didn't break his shutterfinger falling off that roof platform. Many a time I wished for extra altitude. Maybe a 4x5 Technika. That's a bit easier to haul. Don't want to deplete your...
The last time I bought a new Schneider lens cap from B&H the tooling had been moved to Japan IIRC. Same cap just moved out of Germany. I have a treasure chest full of lens caps, I've bought several...

More stable platform for your camera :o . Several years ago I tried an Ebike with a, new to me, fancy internal hub gearing, like my old 3 speed Schwinn only more gears. I was trying to figure it out,...
Fedex. B&H will send it by Fedex to your destination for free. Then send it back home. Of course this is assuming you have a place to load holders.
Travel by air used to be fun.
Spax fasteners, from Fasteners, I love these things. Nice photos took :)
Did you send them the entire unit or just the control board?
Great work!
Ah good point about a universal fixer. I have a cube of Fuji Uni-something, works for C-41 and E-6. The dilution is different, stronger for C-41, I think.
Any fixer will work. I've had to substitute Kodak rapid fixer in a pinch. I've had the fixer part of RA4 blix go bad, mixed Kodak rapid fixer and mixed with the bleach portion, no biggie.
My Crown Graphics (2) have seen more action than my other 4x5 stuff. I use them with the rangefinder, hand held.
I bought 2 of the Sinar P2 cameras, then I bought a bunch of lens boards, all from UsedPhotoPro. I couldn't believe that I could have one of these machines. I've always used a couple Calumet CC-4xx...
That's a nice shutter, I have used Kodak film cleaner as solvent, lube all in one. Great shutter.
Road Trip!
That's pretty neat. No glass definitely would help with UV
My bike has a motor hub, works fine. Front and rear disc brakes, ordinary cables, no hydraulic stuff. I don't let myself get going very fast going downhill, if the brakes would fail I would attain...
PS after I used one of these for years, I figured out that button was the conductivity probe. Tap water or your finger will work to close detection circuit
It's not up to the latest...
I've used these for years. They work great. There is a little device on the top that has a conductivity detector that is designed to prevent it from heating without water. Requires tap water. They...
Meant to say my bike made in China,....not Taiwan. Spell check evil
That's cool. I bet my China, not Taiwan, made bike weights 70 lbs. I have a sweet old Cannondale 3.0 aluminum mountain bike, I wouldn't consider electrification, but an Ebike with same low weight...
Are the frames Cr-Mo steel, Aluminum? I have a RadRover, it's a bit like a Hummer. I worry about brake failure. Between me and the bike it's over 300 lbs. I start declines at 5 mph. The cargo version...
Wow, that's a high end model, sweet! Looks like you are still rocking Readyloads. I should have filled a freezer with these too.
The Golden Age of cinema, or maybe more to the point, A golden age of cinema. Can you imagine a portrait studio with 20 ft ceilings, massive hot lights on booms, makeup artists 8x10 Super XX. Massive...
The current Ektar 100 is a joy to print. I don't think I shot any of the 25. Last couple years I sort of "re-discovered" Ektar, I shot a lot of Portra. I've been using Fuji CA since Kodak quit...
Fuji Crystal Archive paper is available in cut sheets 8x10 up to 20x24. It's a very nice consumer grade of paper. Gives me excellent results, it's so thin it's tricky to handle in larger sizes. I'm a...
I still run E6, C41 and color prints. I do almost zero large format color.
I had a plastic Rubbermaid wash pan for a sink with a garden hose for the drain, luxurious corrugated cardboard walls. I had the sexiest darkroom of anyone else in 9th grade.
My Arkay sink was...
This looks amazing. Madison is an amazing place to be.
We have a bunch of workers getting ready to run fiber network, one of the guys told me my Ebike was "BAD" that made my day.
I have 2 lovely sinks that I have scrounged over the last 30 years. One is a Kreonite fiberglass litho sink 8 '. The neatest thing is a trough in the back to empty trays and tanks. Still has a drain...
