  1. Re: Am looking to purchase a new 8 x 10 Ground Glass rear assembly new? Possible?

Maybe you could buy a back from Intrepid Camera ?
  2. Re: Schneider 150/265 Compur Missing Locating Screw

Well shutter retaining rings can be had for less than $10 from China, just look on eBay. Bought some myself and they are OK... not a lot than can go wrong !

    Re: Seiko #00 shutter

Exactly, that is what I meant. Here is a picture of the shutter with fully opened shutter blades and aperture at 5.6. Aperture scale is LS30, I think it corresponds to a 8/90mm, it does not fit the...

    Seiko #00 shutter

In a old LF Fujinon lens catalog, there is a table mentioning that Fujinon SWD and SW lenses are mounted in #00 shutters, which have a 18mm max aperture diameter. Usually, I read that Seiko or Copal...
  5. Re: Schneider Super-Symmar XL 110mm f5.6 v. Nikon Nikkor-SW 120mm f8

    Re: weight of Rittreck View

I got me a messenger bag for laptop on aliexpress, well padded, two main compartments, the bigger one fits perfectly the Rittreck and there is some place for a lens or two, the second holds 6...

    Re: weight of Rittreck View

Interesting idea, shouldn't be too difficult, front part is easy to remove, rear part is glued.
Take a Rittreck with a destroyed bellows and no back, they come up sometimes dirt cheap, and adapt a...

    Re: weight of Rittreck View

I use a Rittreck and like it very much, but for the weight. I am also thinking about lightening mine. I have an ugly one (lots of corrosion on the back and ripped bellows) bought very cheap that will...
