    You may get what you need by extending the plunger. First, cut it, and solder a brass rod with enough length between the two cuts. I did that before.

    When I bought my apo rodagon-N 50mm, it was attached to a scanner CCD board. I have no idea what scanner it was in. I couldn't find any indications of the scanner brand from the board.

    It may be a dumb question: the software needs a dongle connected to the mac ADB connector (keyboard and mouse) in order to save the scan, did you check this dongle?

    I assume it has SATA drive inside so I would open the case, remove the drive, and connect it to the SATA interface inside your computer, and see whether it would be recognized after booting.
