Re: New To LF and To LFPF

    Welcome Fenton.

For a tripod head, i'd suggest any of the Manfrotto heads that take the RC4 or hex plates. Another option could be the Manfrotto geared heads.

Then, there's heads made by Linhof...

    Re: Rodenstock Aperture Scales

    Re: Tripod for Calumet CC-400

I thought there was a third leg inside the second on the Manfrotto 058 (as it's called in Europe)?

That's what the locking collar near the foot is for, no?

  4. Re: Help! Rear standard of my Linhof Technikardan 45S won't tilt. How can I fix this?

Depends on how much you value the camera and how handy you are with tools!

Remember, these are precision instruments and don't take kindly to unskilled attempts to repair.

  5. Re: Help! Rear standard of my Linhof Technikardan 45S won't tilt. How can I fix this?

I guess the obvious solution is to send it for a CLA. Bearing in mind it'll be a few years old by now, the rest of the camera would benefit too, not just the detent lock.

If you're in the LA area,...

Re: Durst L200 - New to Me - Confused

If you want to use the 212 lamp, then you can't use the vario control psu.

It's marked 0-100 Watts power output, and has a 0-12v voltage output. As is mentioned, that's too low for a 115-125v 150W...
  9. Re: Does Anyone have any experience with the RH Designs Analyser Pro? Any thoughts on

I believe there are two versions of the Analyser Pro, one for the Multigrade heads and one for standard heads.

I haven't used the Analyser Pro as i have the MG500 controller.

    Re: Pyrocat-HD ?precipitate

I've seen this separation of Part A before in a couple of kits from PF.

Although it's disturbing to see, it does not appear to have any adverse effect on the action of the developer.

  28. Re: Linhoff technika upgrade kit wide angle strut kit

Yeah, that looks similar to the internal focussing bed from a 2000.

    Mike
  29. Re: Linhoff technika upgrade kit wide angle strut kit

Maybe it's more like a 2000 conversion with the internal focussing on a lever inside the body as opposed to the 3000 which has a focus knob on the outside of the shell?
