    Scott,

57Wd was designed for wet plate use. It can be used as a film camera as well. It can be used with a 5x8 back as well as an 8x8 focus frame with an 8x8 wet plate holder for 8x8 wet/dry...

Re: Can someone please give me an overview

    Scott,

Let me try to answer some of your questions.

Yes you can use Chamonix wet plate holders for both dry and wet plates as long as their thickness is not over 3mm.

    Inserts are used...

    Greg,

Dagor 9 1/2 inch f/6.8 lens is an 810 lens with an image circle of 14 inches. It does not cover 11x14 at infinity. I know this because I tried it a few years ago. Zeiss Goerz-Dagor 21cm f/9...

Re: Kodak D-76 8x10 in Expert drum

I use Jobo 3005 with D76 at 1:1 all the time. 800ml for four sheets of 8x10 is not a problem at all.
  21. Re: Schneider Corp. of America (Kern) Gold Dot Dagor 14" f/8 (355/8)

That lens is good one for 8x10. You will have soft corners for 11x14 if you shoot at infinity. I found this out on a trip with my 11x14 camera a few years ago. Incredibly sharp where it covers. I use...

Re: View camera as extinction light meter

    What I don't get is

    Super-XX at f/16 like this: f/8 32 seconds, f/16 8 seconds, f/22 2 seconds, and f/64 1/2 second.

I thought smaller aperture need more time.

I am still trying to make sense of this:

    Then there is a chart for Super-XX at f/16 like this: f/8 32 seconds, f/16 8 seconds, f/22 2 seconds, and f/64 1/2 second.

  34. Re: Unsharp Masking…Would I/Could I/Should I?

  38. Re: A DIY 123mm f/8 Cooke split triplet for 4x5

    Dan,

Yes a Protar V covers more, but not by that much than Zeiss Dagor. 16 inch image circle vs 15 1/2 for this 18cm. F/9 is much brighter than f/18. Believe me as I have used both. This 18cm lens...
