I was wondering whether you would recommend I get a polarizer for my "new" LF camera. I have always used them with my other cameras and on a sunny day like today, I wished I'd had one......

About that shift mechanism : I really can't get it to move. It almost feel like the knob is loose but I can't really see where and how to tighten it (no visible screws, just tiny ball point things)....

Thank you, where is the serial number? I've found a number on the top where the flash unit would go and it's 35515.

Both cameras are the same price really, only the Wista is a bit more expensive as I have to add postage for it. I know I will then need film backs,...

I do have to say that the Shen Hao looked really beautiful compared to the Wista which has a bit of paint chipping around the back... but that's no good reason to prefer...
