    Re: DARKROOM - Electric Questions

A normal 20a circuit with GFCI should be fine.

One thing you might consider is using track lights instead of cans. I have a tracklight for red safelight LEDs. Then I can point them where I want...

Re: Monorail vs. Folding Camera Weight

I am wondering if things don't get clean in the drum as chemicals change... The FB paper would absorb more and drain slower. Perhaps try a water rinse after developer and stop bath. I have not used...

Re: Kodak 305mm F4.8 Portrait lens on 8x10

Thanks, I'd guess probably f6.3 (between 5.6 and 8) for that, I don't move the aperture much. That closer distance means more bellows which means longer actual focal length and more coverage.

And ALL depth of field is behind the point of focus. None of this 1/3, 2/3 theory. You'd do well to focus on the nose for a seated portrait, or if it's environmental, a few inches ahead of the person.
