  1. Re: snubby screwdriver made for tripod plate screws?

I've never come across a screw driver stubby or not that has an extra wide blade.
That's something you'd have to make or if you know someone handy to make it for you.

On the other hand, a watch...
  2. Re: An old friend offered us his D-2 he no longer uses.

    it was 'atmosphere' ;)
  3. Re: Adhesive for gluing together PVC Garage Flooring tiles/mats?

They don't contain acetic acid ( acetoxy type cure ) per se, it's a by product of the curing process, there are others that release ( neutral cure ) ammonia/methanol,
don't know what the reaction is...
  4. Re: An old friend offered us his D-2 he no longer uses.

hmm, if I recall correctly that should fit a DII, my first enlarger was a D2 and I later got the Omega flying saucer cold light
and a color head, when I found a DII in the trash I put the cold light...
  5. Re: An old friend offered us his D-2 he no longer uses.

Does the D2 gift include a color head ?
If so, and you have the room, use the D2 for color and the DII for black and white, that's basically the set up I have.
Most of the accessories should fit...
  6. Re: Adhesive for gluing together PVC Garage Flooring tiles/mats?

He's not gluing to the floor, he's fabricating an insert with dividers for his Granite Gear box.
  7. Re: Adhesive for gluing together PVC Garage Flooring tiles/mats?

I would think a soft-ish box would be better rather than a rigid one because of potential collisions.
You should look into EVA foam and polyethylene foam, this is a supplier I use, since I'm local...
  8. Re: Adhesive for gluing together PVC Garage Flooring tiles/mats?

Not familiar with them, are they foam or solid material ?
If they're PVC use PVC glue, looking at the info on the HD site those tiles are awfully thin to edge glue in my opinion.

    I'm curious as...

    Re: Bellows Material

As pacviewcam said, thickness matters and it's misleading when you go by 'feel', I'd recommend getting a cheap pair of digital machinist calipers
    to measure what you're buying.

    Re: Bellows Material

As you said, that flocked material is for exterior use, using it as a bellows liner is probably not going to
end well after all that work, that's just my opinion. Talas does not mention how thick...

Re: Metal Film Sheaths: how to make them?

A magnet will tell you right away what kind of metal it is, I seem to recall the sheaths in my bag mags and grafmatics were aluminum.
Bending the tabs would require a sheet metal bending brake, if...
  16. Re: Daydark Street Postcard/Tintype Camera Repair, Safelight Filter Replacement

I'm with pacviewcam, unless rubylith has changed, there should be a

    Re: Cordless telephone for darkroom

  18. Re: Rethreading screws (the search for replacement screws)
