    Re: Linhof missed focusing

Your gg spacing is off. There are 4 small set screws that adjust the focus plane position of the gg. They have to be reset.
    It sounds like:
1 your camera originally had the fresnel under the gg and...
  7. Re: Diffraction. When does it really matter with LF?

And focused at different points, 1/3rd into the scene, ˝ into the scene, on the nearest point wanted sharp, on the furthest point you want sharp.
And decide how large you will print the scene since...
  8. Re: Diffraction. When does it really matter with LF?

The smaller the format the sooner diffraction creeps in. The vast majority of modern lenses for 45 are diffraction limited at f22.
Modern digital lenses around 11or 16.

  13. Re: Lightening the non-load: Dispose of Metz Mecablitz SCA300 or keep?

You would just need the SCA adapter, if you can find one, that plugs into the flash handle and has a standard PC plug on the other end.

  14. Re: Lightening the non-load: Dispose of Metz Mecablitz SCA300 or keep?

The SCA is the flash shoe adapter to dedicate the flash to your camera. It is not the model of a strobe.
  15. Re: Aspherical, Apo(chromatic) & ED (extra low dispersion) lenses - whats the differe

For taking lenses it means that the lateral chromatic abberations in the secondary spectrum are corrected to a minute percentage of the focal length.

  16. Re: Techniques/Procedure for front tilt and focusing

To complicate your procedure you are shooting in diffraction at 32. Most 45 modern lenses are diffraction limited at 22.
  17. Re: Techniques/Procedure for front tilt and focusing

Tilts control the plane of sharp focus, not the depth of field. That is controlled by aperture, coc, focus point and desired amount of print magnification.
Try focusing 1/3rd into the scene. Half...

    Re: glass neg carrier

There can’t be extra dust. The same amount of dust falls on a Negaflat as on a glass carrier. It just doesn’t prevent popping as well as a glass carrier.
