The focus helical of my Travelwide moved very easily this summer. Yesterday, when verifying the meter/feet question and I noticed that it is much harder to focus. The only difference is that it is...

The focus is in meters. Goes to .55 meters minimum focus.

I usually set mine to 8 meters and leave it for most shots.

Re: Lenses to fit inside a Busch Pressman

Kodak Ektar 100mm/6.3 Widefield was frequently used in the past.

As to 210 mm lenses none of the newer ones will work that I am aware of. The 203/7.7 Kodak Ektar has a excellent reputation.

Corran, Very good images. I have a miniature Crown Graphic with a couple of good 100/105 lenses and also the 65/8. Excellent combo to carry when flying.

Re: How do I remove Beam Splitter Glass

I have seen it mentioned in the past somewhere -- You may want to try acetone or nail polish remover. Just a small drop.

The app I use is the Lumu. It has both spot and averaging and many other features. Spot doesn't seem to be 1 degree but that is fine for my purposes.

BTW, my light meter app has a spot meter function plus averaging etc.

  15. Re: Schneider symmar convertible in busch & pressman mod.d

The opening is about 52mm and the ground glass back can't be removed.

I use Nikon 90/F8, Rodenstock 135/f5.6, and a Fujinon A 240/F9 lenses on mine (among others) and don't feel limited.

Easily offended. I would have put a ridiculous price on the whole lot and then suggested that anyone contact the seller if they wanted anything particular.

Try decreasing the diameter of the bend in the tubing and see if that helps. If it flattens out it will only help.

  38. Re: Using Center ND filters on the back of LF lenses a viable option?

Focus shift will have a far greater effect on a 90mm wide angle lens on 4x5 than on a 500mm lens on 35mm film -- sad to say.

  40. Re: Camera Selection: Tachihara, Toyo 45Aii or xxxxxx?

I agree. Have a Bush Pressman (with a working rangefinder) and a Sinar F2. And use the camera that suits the purpose. A homemade adapter allows the Bush Pressman lens boards to fit on the Sinar.
