Re: New to Me 1000mm F16 Apo Ronar

Maybe you have realized that the size of the lens is much larger than the Sinar Copal hole. You'll have no problem to focus, but the f stop required to shot is f32 or smaller. f22 is larger than the...

    Re: Rodenstock Apo-Ronar-CL 600 mm 1:11

The Rodenstock Apo-Ronar-CL 600mm 1:11 is a very rare lens. It has 6 elements and itīs sharper and contrastier than the more common Rodenstock Apo-Ronar-CL 600mm 1:9 with 4 elements. When both were...

Re: Filter dilemma for 82mm solution

The grandagon 115/6,8 is a superb lens, one of my prefered ones. The filter solution I use for my largeformat system is 105mm and 86mm glass filters. 86mm for lenses from 49 to 67mm diameter and...

  10. Re: Schneider Symmar XL 150mm f5.6 VS Nikor SW 150 f8

Donīt worry, Schneider Center filters IVa, IVb and Heliopan 95mm center filters will not mark the front lens coating of the Nikkor SW 150/5,6. They are as safe as the discontinued B+W EW series.

  18. Re: Should I get a center filter for my 65mm Nikon-SW f/4 & 90mm Sinaron-W f/6.8?

I do not reccomend you to ad an UV filter, no matter itīs one of superb quality, between lens and center filter. Iīm sure most members of this forum do not use UV filters for protection. The filter...

  20. Re: Should I get a center filter for my 65mm Nikon-SW f/4 & 90mm Sinaron-W f/6.8?

  21. Re: Should I get a center filter for my 65mm Nikon-SW f/4 & 90mm Sinaron-W f/6.8?

Your Nikkors 65 and 75mm would dramatically benefit from a center filter when you shot chromes. Any 67mm center filter with a 3X factor
(1,5 stops factor) will do a decent job, but a 4X filter (2...

Re: recommendations on 8x10 one/tele lenses.

Fujinon T 600 will not cover 8x10. With 600mm bellows extension, your options are limited to tele lenses of 600 and 800mm. As far as I know, just Nikkor T ED 600/9 and 800/12 and Schneider Apo Tele...

    Re: Rodenstock 90mm 4.5 Grandagon-N questions

I have both SK90XL and Grandagon N 90/4,5 (no green stripe, but late serial number 109XXXXX). Apart from the obvious differences in image circle size, 259mm vs 236mm, filter size 95mm vs 82mm, 0...

    Re: 65mm lens comparison

+1 for the Rodenstock Grandagon N 65/4,5. Itīs very very sharp. I shot color slide film and I find the center filter is mandatory, unless you like heavy fall off efect.
