    Re: web page

A very impressive website in which the design and layout enhanced the images. Congratulations! Contrary to my LF and B&W prejudices, I was particularly attracted to the color work - especially the...

    Re: New Website

Impressive set of different images. The website was easy to navigate, but the rather plain-Jack/Jill web design rather detracted, rather than enhanced, the quality of the images IMHO. And I would...

Re: American Southwest in full Autumn

Lots of very good advice! My two cents: Since time is limited, Las Vegas is probably the best starting point (you may find that flights are cheaper there as well!). And while the major national...
  6. Re: Brand Spanking New Here... what are practical differences among Chamonix 4x5 mode

Hi Andy, and welcome. I have a Chaminox 045-2 which replaced a very heavy and unwieldy MPP VII. It is a bit "fiddly", but the fiddlyness makes me slow down and concentrate -- which I think is a...

    Re: My Personal Website

Wow! Great images and a very attractive website. I was particularly impressed with the portraits. You have the knack of really "getting" the person.

Re: Wista 45vx or Chamonix 045n-2

For what it is worth... I have an 045-2 and a metal field camera (an MPP VII, the English Linhof). The 045-2 is MUCH easier to set up and adjust. Using a 90mm wide-angle on the MPP is a nightmare...

  28. Re: Century Graphic 2 1/4 X 3 1/4 lens question

Nope! This one doesn't have a "T". The lenses that I have for my 4X5 MPP VII all have a preview button (or a "T" stop), but this little lens does not. But thanks for the suggestion. Cheers, David
