Re: Film on a Plane: Check It or Carry-On?

Don't forget that you can mail a package to a US Post office addressed to you and "Hold for Pickup". But I would verify with the PO as to how long they keep the package before returning.
  2. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

You'd have to ask the person who referenced "interstate".
  3. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

I'm pretty sure that, because they are processing payments to/from individuals, they now fall under financial regulations (including those intended to prevent money laundering) that require them to...

    Re: Ebike?

A friend has one, similar to the one in the photo. He likes it a lot. He wanted the "cargo" capacity for commuting to work.
  5. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

But a private business can deny service if they want your SSN and you don't give it. Something that should be remedied.
  6. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

No, it's not illegal. I think it's wise not to comply except where necessary, but a private business can legally request it.
  7. Re: Now e-Bay wants my SSN and bank account info . . .???

I did not sign up for their new plan (and don't intend to) but did had an item that had been listed for a while. It sold and proceeds went to paypal. So you don't need to end your open listings -...

    Re: Current 4x5 enlarger options

I have no experience with the Intrepid, but my general bias is that some built to perform a task works better than something adapted to perform a task.

Note that many units now are "transceivers"; able to transmit or receive.

I wonder how the low-E glass typically used in windows might affect you.

Butler Square is one of the few "grand old buildings" still remaining in Minneapolis. Many were torn down during the so-called revitalization effort of the 60s and 70s. These building had large,...

  18. Re: Brexit trade (custom) treaty - and Global Shipping Program (for EU trades)

No, under that scenario you (as seller) are OK. You would have to ship more than 2 days AFTER being notified of the reversal.

  32. Re: Brexit trade (custom) treaty - and Global Shipping Program (for EU trades)

  33. Re: Brexit trade (custom) treaty - and Global Shipping Program (for EU trades)

  34. Re: Brexit trade (custom) treaty - and Global Shipping Program (for EU trades)

Since the US was never part of the EU, should not impact you at all (unless you moved). Of course the issues with shipping (both international and domestic) affect everyone.
