    Re: Cinestill images

Here's an image made on the newly-released CineStill 400Dynamic, in 35mm. Please view, at full-size. The exif data is in the file, via Meta 35. It seems like it holds the shadow detail fairly well. I...

    Re: Pricktorialism

It's been a while since I've posted any images, so here's one of a saguaro cactus from a trip out West, earlier this year. I used a Nikon F6 with a 16mm F/2.8 AF-D full-frame fisheye lens, and Provia...

Nice! I never really been able to do any lighting photography, but it is something that I would like to try. What f-stop were you using?

    Re: Trains

I've always though trains were "cool" ever since I was a little kid. Do you know if this train is still run, for excursions?

    Re: 8X10 Portraits

I looked at the website, and it looks like an interesting project. How long will you be photographing for it? It's nice to see color work in large format, especially 8x10.

Do "they" still hold Burning Man? I heard there were various issues, but I don't know what they were, or what the final outcome was.

Rather poignant, makes you stops and think. Have you ever gone there at 11:00 AM, on November 11th? The shaft of light combined with the inscription would be quite moving.

I like this...it's visually calm, but at the same time has an almost eerie feeling about it. I think these two opposite emotions create a tension that works well, here.
