Yes, the published chart is reliable.
The necessary compensation grows to 4 stops, but not beyond. I have done quite a few long exposures on Fomapan 100 and always used the chart, never had any...

I had a shutter go blub blub once, it wasn't so accurate after that.
Yes, that's what I always thought too. I do always see a bit of a drop in strength between a newly opened bottle and one that is open for a few months, but this is really strange.
It's almost...
Yes, that is what it looks like. Otherwise there would be at least a trace of black somewhere probably.
Guess I'm officially not shooting enough then.

Not sure what happened there. Never had that before, shutter was exercised and the model confirmed it opening and closing. The darkslide was also turned around, so I didn't forget to take...
That must have been quite a morning. Wonderful result too.
Yes, it was a clear frosty morning. Quite a bit of ice had formed and there were pretty thick icicles hanging from the grass on the bank.
Not a lot of luck involved with this one. I spent 10 days...

Not sure if it's my favourite mountain, but it sure is nice seeing the mountains of Scotland appear when you approach Loch Lomond...

This one is in slightly better condition (but still well used with 2 sisters who had over 20 years of piano lessons between them).

Still a great effort. I'm sure it can be salvaged. But it is annoying to have to spend time on it when you can easily avoid it in the field.
And quite rightly so. I've seen it come by on a few different platforms and enjoyed it every time.
That's a beauty. Looks almost like a wet plate, but a bit more mellow.
Yes, you can hear it underfoot. Love the clarity of these chromes.
Fantastic.
Fomapan 100 is not particularly picky about exposure and development in my experience. I usually don't shoot for wet printing though, so I err on the side of caution and go for a slightly less...
That is fantastic. What a great model. Everything about it works for me, the color, the reflections, the composition and she sets the mood very well.
That's great. It's so period correct it almost looks like a retro movie.
No grand vistas where I live, but plenty of intimate landscapes.

I have a Nikkor-SW 90 4.5, also without a CF. I've never missed it, not even with Velvia. But maybe I never shifted it a lot with slide film (I mostly shoot b&w). For negative film you definitely can...
It's called CDO, it's like OCD but with the letters in alphabetical order.
This doesn't look like it happened in the camera. I would guess during storage or development. Did you send it out for development? Could be caused by a scanner of some kind during transit perhaps?...
Perfect weather. A grey day for a grey subject.
Maybe there were 10 years ago..
That's almost a universal image, that could have just as easily been taken within minutes from my house on the other side of the pond.
It does still have quite a color cast to it, but that is easy...
Yes, they were, though none of them were in front of the camera for more than a minute or two.

Probably during removing or inserting the dark slide, since half of the frame was protected ?
Amazing, in all respects. How you've managed to maintain the look as if this was lit with just existing lights and with all the technical challenges still managed to get a well constructed portrait...
Try macodirect.de if you need a wider selection, they ship worldwide at quite low cost too and have almost everything you could possibly need.
Thank you Paul, that's very kind.
Is that the place where all the clouds are born?
Thank you. It's starting to grow on me too. It does exactly what I wanted, it's a good representation of a nice afternoon spent wandering around the forest, looking at a series of waterfalls (only...
Lovely stuff, as usual, Mathieu.
Thank you. I believe it was a 150mm (Fujinon in my case) on Fomapan 100 in R09.

I don't know if this one is about the waterfall or the trees or the water, so I'll just post it here. Luckily my wife can still muster the patience to let me bring along the 4x5 every now and again...
Awesome stuff, Tim. Really caught the mood well and the style is totally in spirit of the event.
What kind of lenses do you use on your graflex? Most of them have a Heliar look. I've seen some car...
That's a great image, Michael. I'm particularly impressed with how well you get the mood across. It's all very gray, but still there are beautiful tones.

Thank you. I'm still undecided about the image, I was just enthused by seeing a nice negative after being out shooting again. I do quite like the composition, and although I usually don't shoot in...
Getting back in the groove of shooting too after the summer. So happy to get back to the control over the image LF gives.

Silvery goodness.
