Re: 5x7 Elwood enlarger lens board

They are not hard to make. Find the right thickness of plywood or MDF. It is about 3/8" . Cut a rebate or rabbet at one end, drill a hole the right size and there you are.

    Re: Elwood enlarger

I have had mine for years. Bought from a friend for $50. Removed the war of the worlds top and put on a cold light. Later got a 6 x 9 Aristo light which covers 5 x 7 nicely. I made an adapter...
  6. Re: Chamonix 5x12" camera, with options is a reality

They are a great outfit. I have holders made by them for my ersatz 5 x 12 Seneca. Seneca did not make this format. I used the hardware from a 5 x 7 and copied the same design. I have no doubt the...

    Re: Chaminox 5x12" camera

Tillman's is a Canham. I am wondering if he is still using it as he seems to be moving into very large platinum prints which indicates he is using digital.

You may also want to spend some time near the Columbia Icefields. Good views from the visitor center which is across the highway from the icefields.
  11. Re: What All Lensboards Can Be Used on Agfa Ansco 8x10?

Boards are easy to make. Find a suitable thickness of baltic birch plywood, cut a rebate, drill a hole and there you are.
  12. Re: Retrobrom 151 / 152 - Newly released paper from FOMA

It is quite exciting to see new products in analog photography. "Ain't ded yet!"
  13. Re: Where are the great shots? Am I a cynicist or a realist?

Agreed. For the handful of lucky ones who find an audience there are a multitude who will remain unknown although their work may be exemplary. However, I still need to go out there and make images...

  23. Re: Scott Nichols Gallery Closing/San Francisco

  28. Re: 5x12" format popularity and film availability.
