    Here's a scan of a selenium-toned, fiber-based print. Camera was a Rolleiflex 3,5 Automat.

Tip: try to have one tripod leg going forward. It's very easy to bump one if it's situated between your feet.

Thanks, Daniel. I do have a Speedotron black line Fresnel. I'll give it a try as a key light, especially if I get around to using SF lenses. I'll check out the video. Thanks!

Re: 8x10 Portrait Camera Viewing Hood

Daniel, I wish I had on of those and an 8x10 Sinar back.... I use a Sinar 4x5 back on that camera, as that allows the bino viewer.

Well, it would be non-trivial for someone who's not an electrical devices expert. Ok, maybe it just wouldn't be trivial for me.
  12. Re: Fuji GX 680 180mm f/3.2 in Seiko Shutter for 4x5 Experience

Interesting project, John. I have one of the 180- f/3.2s. That would be a pretty complicated endeavor, though.

It's great that these can be repaired! An alternative for those who don't have one of those: an inexpensive sous vide heater and a container.

I bought a rifle recently. The owners manual warned of storing it long term in a gun case. My guess is because foam and similar will likely leach nasty fumes.
