Looks good to me.
Let me know if I'm missing something.

Thanks, that seems to be the consensus from another forum.
I have looked and cannot find a manufacturer name. Does this lens look familiar to anyone? Thanks.

D300 50mm @ ƒ4
Really good advice! Thanks!
In hindsight this seems obvious but...
Hey all, thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I am running OSX 10.6.8 and have made about 7 scans just trying out some of the Nikon Scan features. So far it all seems pretty straight...
on a long term loan from a friend. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions from users familiar with the device. Thanks.

just saying...
This is a fun video I thought y'all would enjoy but I understand if you choose ask a mod to delete it as "off topic".
I realize this is not likely what you want but it is all I have. It was recorded a long time ago in a kitchen far, far away...

Nice, I have always liked "one point".
Henceforth ye shall be known as Renato the Encourager!

I know this is a BORING image but so far it's the best scan I have managed and this is the 2nd and torn roll; P67 with Xenar 150 @ ƒ5.6 Pan F+ in DDX. Just plain overcast lighting, outdoors just...
I am encouraged every time I watch that video. I have just started shooting 120 again and have done poorly with my first 2 rolls. The fist seemed to have good density and sharpness but the scans...
I think this is particularly well seen.
But I presume you are asking if I hate everything I shoot. :)
No, but I am very critical of myself and I do like taking more control over the lighting as...
Fiber morain?
Please, what are your thoughts on this?
Hmm, that top image looks suspiciously like they're chimping...
Maybe even a touchscreen on the back of that camera, or her iPhone is laying there...
Could this be possible evidence of time travel?
Thank you Randy Moe.
Thank you ImSoNegative.
I appreciate the encouragement.

After pulling the slide or putting the mirror up I learned to wait 10 sec to 1 minute depending on lens, camera and tripod set-up. Also the floor has an effect, concrete slab on earth is the most...
I have never heard this but it makes sense in my ignorance. Can you explain it again more concisely and possibly more simply please?
Thank you for the response, I really appreciate your time and effort. I plan to use this with a P67 so the shutter is not relevant. I apologize for not mentioning this first.
Thanks Jim. I appreciate the response.
the Schneider Xenar 135mm ƒ4.5 and the 135mm ƒ4.7, please.
I know the ƒ4.5 is 90 grams heavier; but are there additional differences? Is one sharper?
Thanks in advance.

Excellent! Thank you so much for that, set-ups and explanations are of great value to me and always helpful. I failed to mention this but I'm loving your work.
Is this done with light or "painted" in through layer masks or some other PS technique? I am just asking so I know if I need to work on my lighting and photo skills or my photoshop skills. Thanks.
Huh, I don't know how I missed that. Anyway, thanks. I hope you keep posting the good work, I find it inspiring.
I like this a lot, even more than the color version because I see more detail in the flowers. To my eye the B&W has much better tonal separation in the petal, pistil and stamen detail (I had to look...
I have had 2 of these for 30 years or so and have never used them. It is unlikely I will ever use them so its time to consider finding a new home for them. It seems like they would be really useful...
That might just give it the "kick" it needs!
:)
A tightly pulled black net should only effect contrast. It was a popular method used for controlling contrast, particularly blacks, when shooting transparency film for reproduction.
Not shiny tulle or stockings but matte tulle or matte stockings are preferable.
The ground glass version was literally shot through diffusion. The GG acting to diffuse the contrast. It does look lovely and can likely be replicated by shooting the LF lens through some type of...
Yeah, from the first digiroid I can't get "Keep on Truckin'" outa my head!
;)
Ha!
This is one of a pair of boots a friend found in the desert. I picked the least interesting side to start with, but I am making slow progress. I had hoped to get this on film by now but still...
Yeah it does!
:)
Digiroid of a shot I am working on. This is against an unlit white sheet because I think I want it on a white BG when it's finished. Well, this is in process and I may be done and commit to film...
