    The comparison would be to the Apo Sironar W, not the S.
    Originally the Apo Sironar W was just the 150, 210 and 300mm Apo Sironar.
    Those lenses covered 80į, the S covered 75į.

    When I was Product Manager for Beseler in 70 all of the models had a filter drawer. But I went to EPOI the next year and really didnít follow them afterward.

    No, Nikon never sold center filters for their lenses. Probably because their filter supplier didn’t make them ever.

    The Apo Grandagons require a different density center filter then your other lenses or other Grandagon lenses.

    Super Angulons, Grandagon, WA Nikkor, WAFujinons and Symmar XL as well as all other wide angle designs that look like these lenses.

    When you focus closer then infinity then the subject can be a little closer to your camera with a CU lens. It will not let you general scenic photography. That would require a different focal length...

    45 Technika boards, they are available flat new with pilot hole, 0 hole 1 hole or 3 hole and in several reseed depths with 0 hole.
    0 and 1 hole boards are available with or without a cable release...

    Tilts change the plane of sharp focus. The two work together.
