    Rotate tab counter-clockwise.
    The " hook" above the tab should slide up, opening the latch.

    Flash sync is controlled by the shutter.
    Flash exposure is controlled by the aperture.

    They screw directly in to an Alphax #4.
    BTW, the 209 Copy Raptar is the same as a regular 209 Raptar with the cells switched from front to back.
