I have the original Acratech on my old aluminum Gitzo and it's very strong with the Lotus 4x5. It's very fast to operate and is super light.

I have a Zone VI 8x10 mounted on a massive Studioball with a stock Arca plate (single 3/8 screw) on a Ries J100-2. Rock solid as that head can hold a ton of weight, but I would feel even better...

I'd think that "Maroon Bells" would look spectacular in 30x40. Hmm, but I do like the "Yosemite Valley, Thunderstorm." I always preferred that one and the vertical to the current SEP image.

Boards shouldn't be trimmed down. Sexton wouldn't allow it and if he heard that a gallery permanently modified one of his consignment prints (which still belong to him), it would get ugly really...
