    Re: Going to try Techpan

I've been using Photographer's Formulary TD-3 developer with good results.

  3. Re: Suggestions for small, light 2-300mm 5"x4" lens needed.

Not sure how uncommon they are, but I have Nikkor Q 300 in Copal 1. It's a fine lens and I actually like the single coating.
  4. Re: Best process for drying negatives after development?

Regarding clips, someone on this forum suggested using hemostats. You can get them cheaply on the auction site. They work very well and only bite a tiny area of the film.
  5. Re: Tight Focusing Rails on Zone VI 4x5 Wista Version

Ditto on what Keith wrote. My Nagaoka did the same thing when I got it and doing that fixed it.

Re: Lens Ideas for 5x7/8x10 Studio Camera

If cheap ($50-100) is what you want, the old B&L Tessars are certainly that but can work pretty well.

    If you're interested in such a lens, I have a 5x8 1c (~240mm focal length) mounted to a...

Re: safe haven for tiny formats

My first shots from a bulk roll of Tech Pan (exp. 2002) that I recently acquired. Worked out pretty well using Photographer's Formulary TD-3 for 13 minutes. Taken using a Contax IIIa fitted with a...
  8. Re: 5x7 Printing Options (Contact Print? Scan and electronically print?)

5x7 contact prints are easy and economical to make, and are really quite nice. You could probably also get an inexpensive holder for your scanner, but give the contact printing a shot - you are...
  9. Re: Late 2017 e6 Processing in NYC Recommendations

    Adam-

CRC worked pretty well for me though the 8x10 film I had processed there was very old so there was a color shift. Otherwise it looked good (and clean IIRC).

I think this is what you are looking for:

  13. Aperture Scale for 355mm G-Claron in Copal 3 Shutter

Re: Post Your Photos Made At Close Distance

Yes, the filament is visible, though not as defined as I wanted it to be. But given the crazy bellows factor I'm pretty happy the way it turned out.
