To enliven this "small soft focus" thread... 6 1/2" Verito mounted on Bergheil 6x9. I think it was my first shot with Verito, I waited a bit for the duck reaching the frame.

Anybody knows what fl is no.5 Eidoscope?
I have never seen Eidoscope was selling with yellow/orange filter. It seems this one was originally sold with such filter, so, is it uncommon for Eidoscope?:

What FL are no....

Thank you Garret.
All these photos I took in Warsaw parks, they are great places for soft focus.
Here there is another example, Gundlach 7 1/2" menisci f/8, Adox CHS25, Voigtlander Bergheil...
Another Lancaster 6" menisci shot:

At the begining with Lancaster menisci shooting, I was struggling with strong halo it renders in strong light, I have learned to control it a little though it's not easy on 6x9 focusing screen, but...
Steve, Barry, thanks for so king words.
Thank you very much.
Most soft focus shots I have taken in last two years were with Lancaster menisci, and most are still not edited (only scaned). I found f7 to be a sweet spot for Lancaster...
Thank you. This one taken with Lancaster menisci 6" f7 mounted on Bergheil 6x9.

Gundlach menisci 7" f8, Bergheil 6x9, Adox CHS 25. I regred I sold this lens.

Thanks to all for help in its indentification!
But what about "Dallmeyer Finder Anastigmat"? I have found nothing in Google apart from a few photos taken with it with its unusual/amazing...
Confirmed, front lens is larger, 41mm in diameter what gives f/3.1. And aperture goes beyond f11, a few mm further.
Really fast WA vintage lens for 5x7! It's like 27mm on 35mm camera (lens...
That's right, it's 5" with f4 to f11 with 16 aperture blades. Both glasses are convex outside, really strong. Is it anastigmat? I see - if corectly - 2x 4 reflections.

I bought these two lenses and have not found an information about them.
First one is Dallmeyer Finder Anastigmat 4" lens. It's in barrel, very small, seems a Cine lens but never heard "Finder"...
Thanks for your recommendations.
Dan, I meant 7" lens that renders similar image to RD Artar/Apo Ronar. I have three RD Artars but wish to have 7" fl the most.
Hello,
Goerz and Rodenstock never made 7" of thier famous Apo lenses - Red Dot and Ronar. I like this FL and wonder if there is 7" lens made by other lens manufacturers which gives similar...
Is this one a poor copy 161174180867 ?
Would like to buy an original.
I do not have one, just wonder if this is the same lens... I have seen one with f/6.8. Wollensak could made this lens (Series I) for Seneca with "Seneca" name? Seneca cameras were often fitted with...
Does anybody know if Senca Anastigmat Series I lens has the same lens formula as Wollensak Velostigmat Series 1?
What of your soft focus lenses have you used here?
Dial set Compur for 150/4.5 lens should be right for your set I think.
My serial # is 294,554
Another happy owner of Eidoscope 150mm lens set... but mine is f/4.5 and fits directly to modern #1 shutter (Copal, Compur-Synchro) without need of making adapter for front fit. So back lens has...
Hope to see more shoots here with Artars. Especially colour landscape.
I still remember a beautiful image of California landscape printed in "Using the View Camera" and taken by Morley Baer with...
Does someone know what was original lens hood for SA 65mm f/8? I have just bought this lens and would like to find shade for it.
I have 75mm f/6.8 Dagor and use it on 6x9 at f/22 and covers it. I do not think you will be able to cover 9x12" with 80mm Dagor. Some say Angulon 65mm f/6.8 does it when stopped down.
My small contribution in Verito thread... it was first shot I have taken with new to me Verito, I used only some meniscus lenses before it. I was afraid about Betax speeds which were unreliable, but...
Take landscape shots where are more light nuances and you will see much more differences.
Jac, Zeiss 6x9 Maximar was my first plate camera, I was very excited to shot first photos - should have them somewhere. It was equiped the Tessar 105/4.5 lens, actually very good lens. Sold it and...
So rare to see Hyperion in action. Beautiful softness, grade. And great image Jim, as usual.
I have and use Voigtlander 6x9 film pack holder as "better" viewing and framing part - I put in it a groud glass - of my 6x9 Bergheil. Have also a few original 6x9 holders but use two Rada roll film...
I got perfect negatives but with Rodinal 1:50, 20ºC and 9,30min. I recommend to use destilled water and gentle rinsing (also agitation). My personal EI for Efke 25 is 12iso. But I used to underexpose...
Jim, you never stop inspire. Great project.
I use Bergheil 6x9 quite intensively and would suggest you to buy on ebay Rada 120 roll film back which I think is more safe than using film holders. I tried to use once original Voigtlander' film...
