    Most soft focus shots I have taken in last two years were with Lancaster menisci, and most are still not edited (only scaned). I found f7 to be a sweet spot for Lancaster...

    Confirmed, front lens is larger, 41mm in diameter what gives f/3.1. And aperture goes beyond f11, a few mm further.

    That's right, it's 5" with f4 to f11 with 16 aperture blades. Both glasses are convex outside, really strong. Is it anastigmat? I see - if corectly - 2x 4 reflections.

    I have 75mm f/6.8 Dagor and use it on 6x9 at f/22 and covers it. I do not think you will be able to cover 9x12" with 80mm Dagor. Some say Angulon 65mm f/6.8 does it when stopped down.

    I use Bergheil 6x9 quite intensively and would suggest you to buy on ebay Rada 120 roll film back which I think is more safe than using film holders. I tried to use once original Voigtlander' film...
