Thanks for posting this. I use this every year for Christmas cards.
I mix up Part A and Part B in distilled water, and keep them in separate bottles. Then I add 10ml of each to a liter of tap water when I develop film. The Part B will last forever mixed.
Because it looks like mine, which is relatively later. My serial is 1425. I bought it from Ron in Marion in 2001. I have an older non-tech that has thinner brass clips on the front.
Of course I...
Maybe Ron started over with the numbering . That is definitely a later camera.
This. I am using an original Dana Terraplane, for my 8x10, and Bomb packs for 4x5. I would love to get new Y zip models, but can't justify the expense because my 25+ year old packs are in perfect...
Great project. Of course it makes me realize how dirty my bike is...
I've loved all of these John, but this one most of all. Beautiful bike. This one is a bit more abstract and the tones are beautiful.
Is it in the downloads folder? You may then have to move it to applications folder. Another thought is that it might be zipped, and need to be unzipped. (I say all this because of my own...
How are you planning to process the 4x5 film? In trays? Rotary? The total amount of solution you will need is quite different. I can't advise you on rotary processing, but in a 5x7 tray, for one...
Outstanding Bryan! Great image and hair raising story. What a productive trip you had!
I would get reacquainted with developing before doing these old films, especially if there's a possibility of meaningful photos. If you wait until you're consistently developing roll films again,...
The great thing is that Limmer's hasn't changed. I went there for the first time in 1967, when my uncle was getting boots. Willi Unsoeld's presentation made a big impression on me as well! I was...
While it pains me to dump unused chemicals, I have to say what's the point of taking risks? Life is short and chemicals are cheap. Get some fresh chemicals so that you can concentrate on making...
Great story John! I have done all the 48, over many, many years. Sadly I just sold our family home in Littleton, so I don't have the base for hikes in the Whites that I had my whole life. In...
That's a nice one to do last, and you had beautiful weather!
Both of those are fantastic Thad!
It was interesting to see what happened with individual prints.

Great to hear from you and see your work again Emil. Stay strong. Things will turn around.
That's great Merg! Thanks for sharing.
It's the sunglasses on that person that gets me. Great!
Thanks Philip. It seems to be a common motif here. I'm going to look for a few others.

210 mm FP4 Yellow green filter in Pyrocat HD.
This one is especially great.
This is very nice. Well seen.
Thanks. It's not too hot. These were end of season peppers, and they posed for a lot of photos, so they were not the freshest when I made the sauce. But the sauce is very tasty!
I listened today. It was great to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the link.
Boy that's in great shape! Looks lovely.
If you use the Zone System, you figure out where the highlight falls, and do whatever N minus development necessary. It's trickiest when the shadow is in reciprocity territory and the highlight is...

I tried doing 2 sheets of 8x10 single sided x-ray film together in a smooth-bottomed tray-- and got scratches. I commonly do two sheets of regular 8x10 film together, without problems.
When you tilted the camera upwards, then brought the back vertical, the bellows got in your picture. It's happened to me. It has nothing to do with your specific camera. You might try to recreate...
While you may have gone ahead in another direction, I will just say that it is easy enough to black out a bathroom at night, and sit on the floor and load holders. For the price of a tent, you can...
I stocked up last winter, and have been working it out this year.
I used f45, and it would have been better to have used f64! But that would have been 75 minutes. The bellows extension factor was 5.75, I guessed on the reciprocity correction, and the filter...
This is Carestream 8x10 single-sided, developed in Pyrocat HD 1:1:200 for 8 minutes in a tray. The exposure was 37 minutes! Sorry for the large size.

A hippy would add some floral embroidery.
Beautiful print of a beautiful guitar. Details on the Martin?
I found that having a red LED on while I developed X-ray film created fog, so I haven't used it since. Some people have mentioned turning on the red safelight after about three quarters of the...
Well expressed! +1 to Jerry's appreciation.
