Yes, The Amon Carter is a great museum that has the funds, resources and people to handle his archive.

I am quite sure they...
Sorry, miss read your post, big difference between "in" and "on".
Dr. Porter passed in Nov. 1990.
The book you have was produced in association with the Amon Carter museum, in Ft Worth Texas.
It was published right around the time Dr. Porter announced that his archive would be donated to them....

Ken,
Interesting idea.
I try not to go out and shoot with preconceived ideas. It seems to squash creativity a bit. You concentrate so much on getting "the shot" you want, you tend to miss...
Ken, Vaughn
First let me thank you both for taking the time to comment.
It is appreciated.
Ken,
I had tried cropping the top a little, but never hit a point I liked.

One of the great places to shoot in DFW is Fair Park.
You want to go before they start setting up for the fair.
Kevin
On Edit: Here is an old thread from TPF on Fair Park.

When it gets to the point where you are changing the way you...

That would be selling out.
Once you start making images with the intent to market them to specific venues, you have...

If you don't feed the Troll's, they go away.
Brent,
Thats the same as always, everybody has their favorites.
I am still a TMax guy.
Basically I am at the same point you are. Quit shooting for a dozen years, now trying to catch up...
Congratulations Wil,
How long before you dump the Nikon?
The 30 days can be a pain, but its the rules.
You could post a WTB over where you are better known. You might be suprised @ what...
There are a lot of TPF'rs here.
Almost all the film people and some of the DigiPho's.
The Buy/Sell here is an excellent place to pick up equipment. Usually at a more than fair price.

Have you read the Playboy interview ?
Of course its harmless speculation, but that does not mean it is wrong.
