They do not charge entry fee's, so if you get down that way, stop in.

    I am quite sure they...

The book you have was produced in association with the Amon Carter museum, in Ft Worth Texas.

It was published right around the time Dr. Porter announced that his archive would be donated to them....

    Interesting idea.

I try not to go out and shoot with preconceived ideas. It seems to squash creativity a bit. You concentrate so much on getting "the shot" you want, you tend to miss...

HCE is what it is. The customer service left years ago.

Co-oP is the store of choice at this point.

Most of the folks that work there have been there awhile.... even if they are young!

  20. Re: What did AA actually see when he “came upon this extraordinary scene”?

I don't see how. It really has little to do with the venue, more to do with your intent.

Maybe I didn't say what I meant very well.

  21. Re: What did AA actually see when he “came upon this extraordinary scene”?

In my mind, "a real artist" would not change his vision to sell a print.

    That would be selling out.

Once you start making images with the intent to market them to specific venues, you have...

There are a lot of TPF'rs here.

Almost all the film people and some of the DigiPho's.

The Buy/Sell here is an excellent place to pick up equipment. Usually at a more than fair price.

If you can find a copy of The Playboy Interview, he talks about what he saw coming.

    He was fairly accurate.

I agree that he would be taking full advantage of the available technology.
