  1. Re: LF hikers, do you remove plastic tree ribbons?

That was the issue with me, the batteries did not seem to last long enough to make me comfortable using my GPS anymore. Plus I did not like having to carry another item along when trying to save...

Re: The FIND Lab, any experiences?

    Hi,

I've used them for processing C41 with good results.
I usually just get the basic scans & tweak them myself.
    They are a good value.
    Never used them for E6.
(Had them do a few Imacon scans...

Re: 8x10 Photography Compared to 4x5 Photography?

    I don't shoot 8x10, but I do appreciate the look of an 8x10 portrait vs a 4x5.
It's looks different, the way the fall off is & probably due to the longer focal length...

    Thanks Ari.
I've got a few older Macs to choose from.
These sound like a great scanners for me.

    Thanks again,

  10. Re: Scanner Options & Comparisons. Which to choose?

    Ari,

Can you run that scanner with a regular Mac or does it need to run on legacy software/hardware? (firewire?)

    Thanks,

Re: Digital Scanning vs. Flatbed Scanning?

    Hi JP,

Let us know how you like the film holder one you use it!

My experience similar to yours: I like my Epson, (tried the dSLR route), but for smaller formats DSLR is best.

I've only seen photos of Avion's.
Did not know about the link to Airstream ex employees.
Do you consider Avion's a better trailer or are they just different?

  40. Re: Technika in a Domke F-2 or other shoulder bag?

    Hi!

I use a dome F2 with my MT.
(I use the same bag for all my cameras & swap them out)
It will also accommodate two lenses on boards.
I also use the Domke F6 bag for the same purpose....
