  1. Re: Creo Oxygen software on iMac or Mac mini, possible?

I've been running it with an original Mac Mini for several years. Ran it with an old MacBook for a couple of years before that. It needs an older version of the operating system and you'll need a...

  3. Re: My New Tripod: Gitzo vs Leica Surveyor vs Ries

I bought a Libec video tripod w 75mm bowl and floor level and mod-level spreaders when I was doing Audio/Video for a local classical orchestra. It turned out to be far better than I expected and now...

Re: Do you get sentimental about your lenses?

My favorite - a 305mm Repro Claron. Because I've made so many of ny best images with it in the 50+ years since I bought it new. Sentimental? Probably not, more like appreciative.

    Re: 4x5 Grafmatic film backs

I like them - BUT as was said above, if you decide not to take the photo, you have to make a complete cycle to the next film for the next shot - basically forget about the sheet you "didn't use"....

Shot with the Zeiss Ikon 6 x 4.5 Super Ikonta I inherited from my father. He bought it new in 1937. Still works perfectly. Can't remember if it was TXP 400 or Tri-X. Camera was on a tripod.

  18. Re: question re metering for zone III and overexposing HP5+ a little

  19. Re: Portable Solution to Make Overhead (90) Photographs

  26. Re: Creative ways of mounting largish lenses on smallish lensboards?

I've made adapters like that totally out of wood - actually built a box extender once - I used it on my Agfa - Ansco 5 x 7 which is pretty sturdy as wooden cameras go.
  27. Re: Focusing loupe for Graflex RB45 - presbyopia alert

One other clever idea from Mamiya. A sliding loupe that flips up for composing. GX60 is probably the only MF camera heavier than a Technika 4 x 5

8 x 10 Linhof Kardan Bi part question
