That is how quickly the light changes at the Canyon. I can take 5 shots within 10 minutes and each one will be different. I was also pointed about 45 degrees to the right from the previous shot.

    Peter,
Here is an update. That was a good catch on the magenta, the blue was a little bit. Here is an update to the image in a larger version for comparison.

There is a light pollution filter I am gonna try, filters out yellow sodium light frequency. I had to remove yellow from the sky in this scene.

  23. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

It was mostly lighting. Used a red 25A filter. So.e Photoshop dodge and burn and a trip Tru NIK SilverEfx. I need to set up my darkroom once my house is built.

  32. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

  33. Re: Your Best Photograph from the Previous Month - Critique and Discussion Encouraged

Edit Looks a bit muddy and washed out. Crop is too tight for me in this case. The Canyon is an intense place with intense views that are dramatic and I don't get that feeling from edit.
