Do they have any X-Ray film with emulsion on one side only?
Take a look at this link for paper reversal process:
https://joevancleave.blogspot.com/2017/10/reversal-print-progress.html
I got it fully disassembled, cleaned switches with Electronics Contact cleaner. Looks like they are working much better now.
No, I didn't expect them to give me advice on fixing their timer :)
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.
You can look into using LetsEncrypt, it's free SSL certificate and you can setup a process where it's automatically renewed. Making it completely hands-off process :)
I was able to gently pull those handles from rotational switches, there was no glue! 4 screws on the bottom - and I got it opened!
I'm going to spray/soak those switches in electronics contact...
I can only open it in Opera, Chrome or Safari won't let me open forum due to expired SSL certificate,
It did expire this morning:

It will cost about 2 or 3 times more to get them repaired by Gralab, compared to buying one from eBay :)
No concern about this cleaner finding it's way inside the timer?
Yes, that's what I'm afraid may happen :( There must be a way to do it, we just need to find a repair tech who knows how to do it :)
Maybe heating it up can help with getting the glue to loosen up?
Does anyone know the secret how to open old Gralab 450 darkroom timer for repair?
I have one with small slide switches (not membrane ones like in newer 450 and 451) and they are not working 100%...
How are you rating HRUs ISO?
Really cool idea!!!!
Ok, I'm going to give it a try as-is, no bleaching :)
For people who are removing extra emulsion with bleach - when is the best time to do it? Before or after you expose and/or develop it?
Do you know if it has emulsion on both sides or not?
So I'm planning on using Rodinol for my Fuji HR-U developing. What should I use as fixer? Some people here mentioned using hardening fixer. Is that what everyone is using?
Argh, wish I saw that earlier! Now I'm stuck with 100 sheets of double-sided green Fuji HR-U :)
I've learned about how X-Ray film works from this Instructable, interesting read:
...
Does the second emulsion interfere with printing? Contact or enlarger prints on B&W paper.
Double-sided? :( I was hoping to avoid that. How are you dealing with this? Are you bleaching one side?
Hello, this is my first post :)
I'm interested in trying Fuji Super HR-T (green) X-ray 8x10 film in my large format 4x5 camera.
Just ordered it, still waiting to receive. Description says that...
