I'm sure someone has answered this before but I can't find a thread..
I know that that 90mm Angulon will make a nice wide.
I am already close to acquiring a 135mm Rodenstock that I know will be...
Acetone had no effect at all.. `I tried the chiseling with a triangular scalpel.. and managed to break the glass off.. so now I will just have to file it down and glue the new piece onto the stump..
3-400 Bucks.. no.. you must be talking about having someone else do the work... you can buy the glass for less than 20 bucks..
I may try the acetone drop..
Lots of views but no replies.. someone must have done this ??
I am in the process of fixing a Busch pressman D and find I need to replace the beam splitter.. Inside the Kalart everything is very clean.. Prism mirror looks good.. but the beam splitter is toast.....
yep know about the Godox but too much money.. Probably just look for a used Metz or Sunpak
saw Louis Mendes on the Boardwalk in Coney Island about a month ago....
Recycle time is not much of an issue with LF.. More into trying something that has a good power adjustment. Probably wind up with a Metz or Sunpack.. that takes care of grip and flash,, BTW I...
I used to have the same loosening problem with my old meridian and a tripod socket mounted bracket.. I wound up finding a thin piece of rubber.. and making a washer to go between the camera and...
Oops no I meant used.. .. Don't care to go way back.. The Vivitar 283 previously mentioned takes me back to the late '70s. good to know people still think of it as a go to tool..
I might look for...
The camera has the flat mount on the outside of the rangefinder... I thought the 283 was an auto flash.. I am thinking a fully manual flash that I can choose guide number on would be better......
Just jumping back into LF with a nice little Burke and James Speed Press with the intent to make it my boardwalk hand held snap shooter.
Looking for some advice on an inexpensive flash rig for fill...
Well I already listed them on fleaby.. and someone put in a bid so I can't pull the listing. But it's starting at only 30 bucks if you want them.....
I have used both of these combo's quite a bit. But theres a certain look they have which I am done with. I just bought a Rodenstock/Caltar N - 135 MC so I figured I would get these older lenses into...
I originally bought this lens upstate New York fairly near Rochester.. Home of Kodak ?? maybe that is why it is in a K brand shutter..
I guess I will put it on the Flea for 35 plus shipping and see...
It is the original shutter..

Also a set of Zeiss Tessar 150mm f4.5...
Well as I thought yours is a Mount 370. That one fits in a 0 shutter and is v.small. They made I think three different variations. The older ones that fit in a supermatic. (which have no threads)...
That can't be right unless its referring to the mount 370 lenses sold a lot in the UK. The one I have measures 35.69 mm inside. I wonder if that means a 36mm thread..
No Jim, the outside diameter is about 38mm.. takes a 38 slip on series VI filter.. but I want to see if someone knows the internal thread size..
I have a newly aquired Ektar 203 in a compur shutter, there is a thread for a filter. Anyone happen to know what size that would be..
Thanks all
Who there.. Thats quite a trunk. As it happens this is going to be more a hand holder.. thats why the desire to use compact lenses and be able to close the camera with the 150 or 135 or 90 in place....
Sorry did not mean to ruffle anyones feathers..
From the Horses mouth so to speak..

Cool cool.. I have been looking on the bay but did not turn up anything.. I have a Horseman FA which has a reversible strip of focal length distance scales but lacks one for the 135.. I guess I can...
Does anyone know of a resource anywhere on the web for downloadable jpgs of distance scales for various lens focal lengths.
In the past I have set up the camera with a tape measure and made my own...
Managed to do a backroom deal with an auction site dealer and scored this beauty for 850 from Japan. Arrived in 3 days in original packing with all papers and manual.. the protective plastic on the...
Why bother with a "beginners camera" when prices for good kit are so low..
Calumet returns 410 results on the auction site
Sinar returns 819
Availability of spares is not going to get any...
Second everything that was said about the bag bellows. You will need it for super wide angle lenses to afford the use of movements and to get close enough to the film plane. (Theres a fe available...
Well .. end of thread guys... I just scored a like new one for 850 in the original box with papers and everything.. Thanks all
Yep I agree.. that one also lacks a focusing hood/.. which would cost more than 150 to replace..
I am waiting for an email back from the seller on the Mint one.. fingers crossed...
First establish which system you want..and what if any spares and expansion is available... I just checked on the auction site. the results reveal this amount of items per search in the "cameras &...
Another BTW.. I put one of my loaded Grafmatics on a scale to weigh it against the equivalent of 3 Fidelity dark slides.

Well I use Light Meter for Iphone which auto logs into Dropbox. It auto records all my settings location etc and a photo but no notes.(perhaps in a future version). What to do what to do, ah ok I have...
Do you have an i or other smart phone. Theres tons of logging apps. Take a snap on the phone and add notes. Compare images when developing is done. That's what I do.. I don't need to mark the film...
Surely the disk numbering is a coding system.. Why do you need to add another one ??
True no strobe meter but most meters don't do that anyway. Once you use a flash for outside the studio background flash and fill a few times you get to know the light output. It stays constant at...
Why do yo need a code notch.. leave the number wheel in in that case.. Don't understand this ??
