Very sorry to hear that... condolences to you and yours.

Phillips cameras/lensboards have the same issue as Chamonix - the cameras will accept Sinar boards, but the lensboards that Dick made won't fit on Sinar cameras, for the same reason. I suspect it's...
I'm afraid I don't really know, so I wouldn't be comfortable concluding that there's a consensus. Perhaps you can ask dealers participating in the Ilford ULF program whether they know of anyone who...
We've received a question about how to subscribe to a subforum. Look under the subforum's "Forum Tools" menu - see the attached screen capture.
:) < imagine thumbs-up emoticon here >
The Ilford offering is a mix. Some of the long rolls are on roll film base, some on sheet film base. The ULF campaign product listing posted on their website provides the details.
Take a look now at the right-hand end of the menu bar under "Forum".
I'm going to add the link, as this kind of use is allowed within our guidelines ("Links to active or inactive eBay (or similar sites) listings are allowed if the purpose of the post is to discuss or...
For the past few years, as part of their annual ULF special order period, Ilford/Harman has offered some long-roll options that are wide enough (5 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches, 20 inches) to be...
We did some under-the-hood maintenance work that shuffled the menu structure a bit. As you've seen, that function remains available.
New, simpler guidelines are now in effect for the FS/FT and WTB subforums. The guidelines are posted on the Forum FAQ page and can be reached directly via this link:

OK, now I see it listed twice on US eBay.
The item has been withdrawn from eBay, though it is still listed as "in stock" at the website of the seller, Jo Geier in Vienna. The listing acknowledges that the shutter is aftermarket.
Afraid I...

When I tried ordering several of the odd sizes from Climax last year, I got an email back saying that they were no longer in production and all they had left was 7x17. So I took some of those.

The announcement is now up:

Badger Graphic is showing it now too.
Ilford still hasn't posted the official announcement.
EDIT: threads merged.

You can talk about the weather all you want. As soon as someone tries to turn it into a thread about global warming, it's done.

Good information, thanks. So that leaves us the mystery of having a convertible-marked 240mm f/6.8 in a #1 shutter.
vBulletin 4 does not support attachment of local image files to PMs. If you'd like to attach pictures you'll need to communicate via email.
AFAIK, the mega-coverage Computars/Kowas are all marked for f/9 and are not factory-labeled as convertible. This f/6.8 convertible looks to be a different animal.
I think the Symmetrigons were only 150/180/210 focal lengths and f/6.3 maximum aperture. I've never seen mention of a 240 Symmetrigon.
Here is a large format photographer of whom I was previously unaware:

She has a small book out that was featured in photo-eye's weekly email:

4x5 yes, 5x7 no. I wrote a review of the 4x5 for Photo Techniques magazine way back when. The design is different from that of his 8x10 and ULF cameras - same floating front standard, but the rear...
