Re: Flat Field Focus on LF Lenses?

You can get enlarging lenses mounted in shutters which are quite flat field. Most process lenses also fall into this category. Also, too much reading will only confuse you.

  3. Re: how do I use the same lenses for different cameras?

You pick the smallest board and mount your lenses on that one and get an adaptor board for the larger board. For intance, I have most of my lenses mounted on 4x4" Deardorff V5 boards and have a 6x6...

    Re: De Vere 5108 manual

The post right before yours has a link to the manual. Do you have the manual Dichroic head or the closed loop head? There's a spring latch on the back that attaches the head to the frame. L

Re: Question on 10' darkroom sink.

Basically put an ad in Craigslist. Sinks have no great value unless youíre looking for one. If you can get a few bills and find someone to haul it away youíre ahead of the game.

Re: Which are the fancy lenses??

Bernice, I've pretty much got every lens I will ever need and more until I leave the planet. Like I've said before more than once, most lenses are better than most photographers!

Re: Which are the fancy lenses??

I like the concept that the fancy lenses are the ones you can’t afford. That said, my 810 lenses are:
    First lens 12” dagor
    Second lens 6.5” WA dagor
    Third lens 19” Artar
    Fourth lens 24”artar...

Re: Suggestions For Wide Angle Lens on 8x10

I use a Goerz 6.5" WA Dagor. If you have a 300 mm lens, an 210-240 G-Claron may be a good second lens. L

    Deardorff V8 with a 12" Dagor. For portraits, may use a 14" Dagor or a 16.5" Artar. L
  24. Re: Diffraction. When does it really matter with LF?

Only you can choose between slight diffraction and lack of depth of field. Me? I'll take diffraction!
