Pretty cool setup.
Hmmm.... makes me think of chocolates competing for highest cocoa content.
Part of it is probably that you are a new account.
What is coroplast?
I also see Paul’s.
I love this. It’s a great job breaking the ‘rules’ of composition.
I really like this series Peter. She looks a bit perturbed with you in this one, so unlike the previous two.
What did you use as your grinder-another piece of glass?
I like the portrait composition best.
That is really nice Vaughn.
This is very nice. Restful and pleasing to the eye.
OMG! I knew Dye Transfer was a complex process but... Wow! His work showed the elegance of this printing method. Great video.
Hey, as long as they keep the light out. I like them too.
I think this is a fine photograph for an early attempt. I find the rocks underwater pleasing and would not remove them. If anything they should be printed a little lighter (along with the above-water...
Idahoan: “Move along, nothing to see here.” (Accompanied by Jedi hand wave)
I’m with two23 on this one, and would include Idaho. This is the area I grew up in and lived in my early life so yes in this case it’s US-centric. I’ve seen lots of cool photos from around the world,...
Do we send the check to the mailing address on your website? And thank you for the offer.
Thanks.
Great photos, where is the structure?
Thanks for the knowledge on these lenses. I see them on eBay all the time, though rarely at 450 and never longer but heck, this is good to know.
I like this. She seems to convey forlornness from behind that mask.
Slow but progress working on clearing/organizing the garage. I decided to go ahead and hand my two Duplex safelights as a visual reminder of where I want to go. Had to rebuild both sets of filters...
Probably not—though I do tend to be a traditionalist when it comes to flag etiquette (in the US anyway).
That’s a very nice rendition. Stars are on the wrong side—though not your doing. :)
Very nice Chuck, my favorite is the second one also.
What’s with the cairns?
Any time you make adjustments with the back standard, you will effect the shape of the image on the ground glass, and thus the film. The effect might be subtle or exaggerated, but it does occur.
Just blame it on the Shelter-In-Place orders, it’s affecting our perceptions. :p
+1 on this sentiment June. And please be sure to share as you begin your journey.
Well Reinhold your photo is certainly none of those things, thanks for sharing it.
Jon what is this structure?
IIRC from Tim Rudman’s books bleaching will strip most direct toners off the print. So save the Iron Blue, Copper, etc. for the last step.
Well gosh, by a strange coincidence I have a trash receptacle with just the right dimensions for Portriga Rapid... ;)
Thanks. I asked because there is a little gradation in the mid tones that adds to the effect of the image. I just wondered how you achieved that.
I like this image, and somehow the color enhances the subject for me. Did you do any split toning in your post processing?
Did you use the film as the camera original? I like the effect.
Now that’s a bellows!
Oh, and a 30 minute exposure? No big deal. Besides you could go grill dinner while waiting.
You know, i think this idea has merit. It would mimic the “ 3 trays of fresh water” technique, allowing you to pick your soak time for each cycle—say 5 minutes. This might be less efficient for...
Progress for tools for my darkroom.

The idea is to punch 1/16” holes in the corner of sheet film and hang them with this. The top of the sandwich is balsa wood so they may not be...
Igor this has a really nice balance between tones, symmetrical elements, and asymmetrical elements.
