Nice for protection of shutter blades & aperture while in transit for a CLA, or for dust protection while in storage.

Beautiful, Merg!
When was that photo made?
When using a box cutter/ utility knife, make many shallow passes, don't try to make the cut in one pass.
Large format. :)

Outstanding!
My Radar fits in all my #5 Alphax/Betaxes.
But it looks like you got it figured out!
Congrats!
I have a Radar 8x10 f4.5 in Betax #5, and another #5 Betax...I will compare fit when I get home from work today
That camera has the more useful "Graflok" back, not the spring or "Graphic" back.
Roll-film adapters, etc. are more plentiful and easier to use with the Graflok, so that's a plus.
That is hilarious, Bruce!
Great concept and execution.
Hi,
That looks like a 4x5 Crown Graphic, with a 127mm f4.7 Kodak Ektar lens in a Synchro-Compur shutter.
I recommend you use the search feature here, and check www.graflex.org.
An abundance of...
I really like this!
Be sure to refer to yourself in the third person, Randy.
:)
Sorry for OT...couldn't resist.
I tried to purchase one, got the same response.
I think the issue is with international shipping.
I WANT one!.....
HP5+ , TX320, and Efke PL100 in Rodinal.
Here's mine "on the job" from last summer.212763
Wow, that's a nice little camera.
No idea of maker...
The bifold rail is a nice touch.
I'd refinish it.
4x4" lens boards are very common. Ebay seller zbima1 makes really nice ones, in many...
The longest lens I have used on mine is 14", but at closer than infinity..
Hope that helps.
Hi,
That's not a Rembrandt, they have no front movements..
That's a Commercial View.
I have two of them, they're solidly built, but a bit unwieldy compared to the newer high-dollar whiz-bang...
One word:
Pinzgauer. :)
Welcome!
Lots of great info here.
Welcome!
Pinhole can be fun, also in conjunction with paper negatives!
Lots of great info and knowledge here.
After 30 days, you can post a WTB ad.
Enjoy!
Yes, we darkroom printers dance the Masochism Tango.
( with apologies to Tom Lehrer).
^^^^Well done!
^^^Bravo!
Great choice of location for the 3D effect.
Well seen, well done!
That is really cool, Austin...
My immediate response is to do a tight crop to the most heavily damaged area...
...but I've been looking at Brett Weston and Merg Ross books recently. :)
Hmmm....
35mm, 4x4cm, 6x6cm, 4x5, 5x7, Whole Plate...working on getting an 8x10.
I had Norman strobes back in the '90's, and had Robal in LA do all my repairs.
Not sure if they're still around...
I suggest that your best bet would be to find an Ansco 4x5 reducing back for your 8x10 camera.
It would end up costing more and being a hassle to adapt that back to your camera.
I'd recommend...
Very nice, lassethomas!
Quite reminiscent of Jackson Pollock!
I made a copy stand from an old DeJur enlarger (which I got on craigslist for $20) by removing the head, which was held on by a 1/4-20 bolt.
Too bad DeJur left the photo equipment industry to get...
I'm ok with that. :)
Best to replace them.
Otherwise it's like trying to add flavor to used chewing gum...or going bungee-jumping with a bungee repaired with rubber bands.
Carol is still accepting CLA work, she has a waiting list.
You can either switch the lens between lens boards (flanges work best for this), or use a lens board adapter that fits on the camera with the larger lens board.
The lens board adapter would accept...
I don't know if the Mods or Rockers drink Patrσn or not...
but John Lennon was "more of a Mocker, really..."
^^^ Good on you, Norm.
We need more people like you.
You will need a flash with a PC cord socket.
Many modern low-end flashes have only a "hot shoe", where the sync connection is at the bottom of the mount that slides into a camera flash "shoe"
That's some old-school creativity! :) Love it!
I recommend Custom Bellows in the UK.
You would need to send them your old bellows, complete with the frames.
They may or may not have made the originals.
They make excellent bellows, and have...
