    The PM system is designed for conversations involving short text messages. If you need to send images, or large amounts of text, it is best to move the conversation to e-mail.

    As I recall PMs have always been restricted to text only, due to storage limitations. The URL insert doesn't store the image, so that is permitted.

    We are currently testing a vBulletin "mod" distributed by DragonByte that adds a post-level thanks/like/dislike function. The "pro" version allows the addition of other buttons, as well.
