Thanks, guys. It was a great shoot, we had a lot of fun. There are also some black and whites I'll share. That RZ is quickly becoming my favorite camera.

Thank you! I have a few others in the same genre I need to pull up and work on.

Nicely done, Pali. I really dig the last one.

Thanks, Jac.
Small detail, her hair. The light on her face is superb.

Jac, what were the criticisms last time? I'm having a hard time finding any.

Nice shot, Cameron! I like how the man is holding his hat, it sort of centers the whole composition.
She was pretty pale to begin with...and with good makeup (she's a MUA turned model). I had her in a black peacoat, flagged off the light off the background and threw my black coat over the table....

Not sure if this comment belongs somewhere specific, but can we get all the portraits on one thread instead of having two competing ones?

Great set. I really like the little girl on the bike. Nice framing, good pose.
Great portrait. I like the lighting you used.
Thank you! I think my process is coming together, or at least I'm starting to get repeatable results with lighting + exposure + development + scanning + post. There's a lot of things to work out!

Thank you, all! I'm going to try a couple of things. I'll report back.

Gorgeous site BTW
The back of the sink doesn't have any apparent mechanism or valve for controlling the mix. It's gotta be done by removing the faucet itself, I'm just not that experienced with it.
Yep, it's colder. The sink also has a normal faucet with hot/cold and the straight cold is at 62 degrees. So it's mixing quite a bit of hot water right off the bat.
I picked up a nice little Arkay Processing sink, which I've been using as a general purpose sink for developing film. The built in thermometer and faucet works great for color. I can get my washes...

Great shot here. The foot cocked to one side is a great detail in the pose.
Nice work, Cameron. Great pose, nice composition.

That's a pretty good keeper rate for anyone. I'm happy to get 1. I had 2 rolls recently where I couldn't even find one shot that was worth showing.
Austin, I'm always amazed by your consistency. You have your ethic and process down to a science, and that's one of the most difficult things to master.

Todd Hido just released his mid-career survey, Intimate Distance. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The print & production quality of the book is very high, too.
Great portraits, welcome!
