I always reversed my Schneider 150mm f5.6 APO and was able to close the camera even with a lens cap attached.
Shot with a 4x5 Agfa-Ansco from the 1940s with a Wollensak 135mm f5.6 lens under tungsten lights - 1/30 sec at f16. On Tri-X Pan film.

I use LaCie rugged external USB powered drives for backup. The rotating drives are a good deal and pretty fast at 130 MB/sec while the SSDs are more money, but several times faster (like 950 MB/sec)....
