Yes, that helps. At least I can tell which direction the elements should go in. I think I'm close now but it's too dark out to try and focus. There was another ring inside the barrel that I thought...

Sent my 300mm lens from my Fuji GX617 to be cleaned and was told it has seperation in the front lens group, the doublet element. I'm far from a lens expert, but I wanted to take a close look myself...

Oops, typo. Should have said catalog, not calendar. Link Here
This is from Jobo's 2020 calendar "Pre-Wash
In this context it is helpful to remark that JOBO clearly recommends to always pre-wash
your film (and paper) in rotary processing for 2 to 5 minutes....
It inputs to the cold side of an Intellifaucet D250
It’s in the garage where the Jobo is located. It does exhaust through the existing garage vent which should reduce some if the heat in the garage. It’s the only choice I had.

I was finally able to find a used ER301 and a decent price. Now that the temperature and tap water temperature have cooled I'll have to wait until next summer to see if it can successfully cool down...
Do you have the help videos?

One nice feature about DPL 8 is the Aperture check feature. You select an area and will automatically scan it multiple times using different apertures. Makes it rather easy to figure out which one to...
If you already have WD 40 laying around, you can spray that into a jar and wait a couple of days for the crap to settle to the bottom. The nice clean machine oil will be on top.

Thanks so much!
Is that the paid report? I've only seen the one with the Cezanne, not elite. Is there a link? I would love to read it. Thanks.
I assumed they copied something, I can say that they work great.
I thought I would share this head with you all. I've been using the Luland Sinar head with my P2, and it's been fantastic. So when I went looking for something to support 20 pounds of Toyo 8x10, I...
The notable difference is the Elite scans about twice as fast.
Cezanne Max density 3.9, Elite 4.2
Scanning speed: Cezanne 54 scans/hour (35mm @ 350 dpi and 400% magnification). 47 scans/hour...
Welcome. I sent you an IM in case you want to see a couple of monorails, drum and flatbed scanners in person.
Regards,
Ned
Still useable, but I did change to the sink stopper you suggested.

See pic, this Bogen studio stand mount spins and locks down, but when I attach the head to it, although I can tighten it, the camera is so large that it's easily rotated. What's the proper way of...
Been doing some C41 test scans and have been noticing that "raw" scans, that is, nothing in the finish cell has much more noise and is not as sharp as "standard." I've scanned multiple C41 slides,...

I'm in the same boat guys. I picked up the elite that was offered in this forum but unfortunately the G4's hard drive was missing. I'm looking for v2.x so I can get this nice machine up and running. ...
I hate to have to resort to this but. I'm another person that just acquired a Cezanne Elite and as it turns out, no software. Thought it was on the computer that came with it, but it's not. No...
Is there a hardware manual available for the elite? Can’t seem to find one. Thanks

You were right on this one. I didn't realize that it was a sandwich... and the brightscreen labeled glass is just a clear cover with the grid lines taped onto it.
Cheers,
Ned
You mean the second photo... The glass on the left is the fresnel, to the right of that is the BrighScreen GG. It says BrightScreen on it.
Thanks for the confermation on the OEM GG mounting. I'm going to try it like that and see how I like it.
Cheers,
Ned
Ok so after more testing, the OEM GG does not work with the fresnel I have, but the BrightScreen does. I’ll try to use the oem GG without a fresnel and see if the actual images are in focus. I don’t...
