  1. Re: Pyrocat HD part B adding dry chemistry to distilled water + part A

I mix up Part A and Part B in distilled water, and keep them in separate bottles. Then I add 10ml of each to a liter of tap water when I develop film. The Part B will last forever mixed.

    Re: Wisner serial number

Because it looks like mine, which is relatively later. My serial is 1425. I bought it from Ron in Marion in 2001. I have an older non-tech that has thinner brass clips on the front.

How are you planning to process the 4x5 film? In trays? Rotary? The total amount of solution you will need is quite different. I can't advise you on rotary processing, but in a 5x7 tray, for one...

    Re: Developing old films

I would get reacquainted with developing before doing these old films, especially if there's a possibility of meaningful photos. If you wait until you're consistently developing roll films again,...

The great thing is that Limmer's hasn't changed. I went there for the first time in 1967, when my uncle was getting boots. Willi Unsoeld's presentation made a big impression on me as well! I was...

Thanks. It's not too hot. These were end of season peppers, and they posed for a lot of photos, so they were not the freshest when I made the sauce. But the sauce is very tasty!
