Re: Epson Surecolor P800 Print Banding

    Hi
I own an Epson P800. I found a similar effect when I switched to a different paper (ilford mono silk at the time, iirc).
I cannot be sure if it was the same effect you are seeing here but I...

Re: Where to have shutters serviced in Europe?

It matters. In many European countries over zelous custom officers catch every international package and slap it with high fees, even for individual small value transactions.

    In my case...

Re: New FLM Tripod for LF/ULF

As an user of the FLM CP30-XL Pro I would be very interested in a talller "Berlin 38.4"-like design for my 8x10.
I'm not tall but I find the extra height/leg length useful for taking pictures over...

    Re: Received my Chamonix 45H-1

I also own a Chamonix 45h-1 as well. You can comfortably use a 300mm lens (in my case a Nikkor 300 f9).
I'm very happy with the camera.

I also own a 45f1 which has a little bit more extension...
  7. Re: Uneven Pyrocat development - insufficient agitaton?

Stick to inversions as described by Sandy King. I've found that with pyrocat less agitation/fewer inversions works better.
I've had "stains" similar to the ones on your negatives by inverting the...

Re: Pushing Ilford Delta 100 4x5

I've used a few hundred sheets of delta 100 but never "pushed" it. I use Tmax 400 when I need more film speed.

Having said that there might be a developer deemed more "energetic" that could help...

Re: Gibellini LF camera - any experiences?

I hate to waste someone's time. Or my own :) I'm not in Modena. I live in Portugal. Going to Modena would mean using vacation time to meet someone and look at his cameras which might not be of the...

Re: Gibellini LF camera - any experiences?

This thread couldn't have been more timely. I was thinking of visiting G's workshop next month and perhaps spending some hard earned money on one of his cameras.
    I will look elsewhere.
    Thanks for...
  11. Re: looking for schneider center filter 4b

I never shot colour film/slide film so I can't comment on slides.

I own a 72 XL and its centre filter and from my experience shooting b&w, the example in that link "exaggerates" the problem. I...

    Emmanuel,

Thank you for your reply. I think I'm going to start looking for a f line 4x5 in the used market.

    Emmanuel,

All this talk about Arca and visiting Besançon is going to get me into trouble... :)

Are you a representative of Arca?

    Re: Foma 200 in 8x10?

The vignetting comes from shifting a schneider 72 xl without the center filter.
