Re: Sinar Norma 5x7 back on Rittreck View?

Hi Ozzz, if your intention is to fit a Rittreck back to a Sinar 5x7 it isn't going to work. The back plate in pic 3 is the back of the Rittreck camera alongside the Sinar back. I have a Sinar Norma...

Re: What is this sinar part?

You could use the frame from a parts Norma standard or a Norma auxiliary standard. They look similar to your photo. Or you could use a Sinar F or P frame. I can see this would work as a lensboard...

Where do you get 13x18 x-ray film in the UK?
  4. Re: Hacking a Sinar to Linhof Adaptor on to an old Arca Lens Board

That should work well. Linhof Technika style boards are compact and available at a fraction of the price of Arca boards. Sinar to Linhof Technika adapters are also common and easy to adapt to larger...

  7. Re: difficult and expensive to get 4x5 back for Toyo half-plate field camera??

I have one of these 5x7 backs. It's works ok but the wood isn't really finished, and the style doesn't match the camera. I miss having a bail arm too.

I've gone back to using the original...

Re: Sinar Norma 5x7 back on Rittreck View?

The Sinar back does fit but there are a couple of issues:

The back is held on by the Norma spring catches which lock behind the metal frame of the opening in the back of the Rittreck and into the...

    G-Claron casket set

I've collected a number of G-Claron lenses and it's been suggested to me that the elements could be interchanged and used as a casket set. So using the 210, 240 and 305s that fit into a copal 1 what...

  13. Re: difficult and expensive to get 4x5 back for Toyo half-plate field camera??

They use pacemaker graphic lensboards. I don't know about super graphic boards. The bumps at the top and bottom mate with the retaining sliders. Bumps on the side wouldn't get in the way of anything.
  14. Re: difficult and expensive to get 4x5 back for Toyo half-plate field camera??

These Toyo Fields make great compact field cameras. I use mine with the original 4x5, and half plate backs and a custom 5x7 back. A Kodak 203mm f7.7 lives on mine and the camera will close with it...

90mm lenses are very wide on 5x7. If that's what you want, then fine go ahead, otherwise think about getting a 120mm. I have used the Nikkor 120SW and the older Schneider SA 121 with great rusults on...

    Re: Lens mount adapter

    Re: Toyo 5x7 Film Holders

    Indeed they did.

They made non standard half plate holders that were much more compact and lighter than standard 5x7 size half plate holders. A perfect match for their light and compact camera.

I've not seen many colour paper negs. I'll have to give it go. Is this reversed in the computer? Please could you explain your process.
