  1. Re: Are Compur Electronic 3 shutter threads same as Copa 3?

  2. Re: Are Compur Electronic 3 shutter threads same as Copa 3?

    Yes.

Though you'll need to consider the lens you're transferring. Many Schneider lenses that were originally designed for Compound #3's were later used in Compur Electronic #3's still kept the...

Re: ULF - 11x14 - Focal Length Lineup

This site lets you simulate angle of view, DOF for various focal lengths and subject framings from tiny digital sensors all the way up to 11x14:

  4. Re: Use of X-ray film: technical discussion with example images

When it comes to learning ultra-large format, having cheap practice film is necessarily part of the best case scenario!
  5. Re: Use of X-ray film: technical discussion with example images

The best way to use the double sided stuff, in my experience, is in a vertical tank to avoid scratches. I built one out of acrylic for 11x14.

    Re: Tuning a Bender 8x10

I converted a Bender 4x5 kit to 5x7 and made some tweaks, but I think I'm going to have to borrow some of these--especially the locking washers. I like that idea.

  10. Re: Shooting Ilford Delta and developed as iso 400

Thanks for stating the obvious in a condescending manner. It's the whole reason that I come to this forum.

Diafine creates a certain look. It isn't a good choice, but its a better choice than...
  11. Re: Shooting Ilford Delta and developed as iso 400

You could use a compensating developer like Diafine. Typically you increase the EI by ~2 stop with that.
  12. Re: Adapting an Intrepid enlarger kit to an Omega D2?

It attaches with graflok clips, so if you can source (or already have) a graflok back, you could probably figure out how to attach it before you buy.

Re: How to get into ULF?

I built my 11x14 camera for ~$500 and then another 250 for a couple film holders. It was two year and an absurd amount of trail and error. There was probably an extra $100 in there of stuff that I...
  15. Re: 150mm Mamiya-Press lens covers 4x5", but not straight forward to adapt

It's a tessar design, so it makes sense that it covers the format. Also good to know for sure though.

The early Schneider Symmars were dagor designs rather than plasmats, too. I believe they came in 12"/30cm focal lengths.

    Re: Copal 3 Shutter

  32. Re: Head and Shoulder Portrait Lens for 11x14 Camera
